Ramin FallahzadehSenior ML Scientist - GROQ Health

BIOGRAPHY

I received my B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2014. During my undergraduate studies, I was involved in a number of projects around embedded hardware programming and design, and mobile Ad-Hoc networks. In my senior year of college, I did an internship for NEVISA (Persian speech to text software) where I was a part of their machine learning and data analytics team. This experience motivated me to pursue machine learning as my career path. In 2018, I received my PhD from Washington State University, School of Computer Science, under the guidance of Dr. Hassan Ghasemzadeh. The focus of my PhD research was on algorithm design and optimization of Internet-of-Things (IoT) sensors with applications in intelligent healthcare. My current research interests include smart-health, pervasive computing, and machine learning.

I joined NALAB @ Stanford in fall 2018, as a postdoctoral scholar. I am involved in modeling of multiomics and physiological clinical datasets.
