Biography
I’m Shadi Momtahen, a Postdoctoral Scholar in Prof. Nima Aghaeepour’s Lab at Stanford Medicine. I design and evaluate machine learning models for longitudinal clinical and wearable data to predict outcomes and support personalized care. Current work includes platelet transfusion response modeling and other time-series health applications. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at UBC (ICORD) and earned a Ph.D. at Simon Fraser University, collaborating with BC Cancer on deep learning for cancer detection.
